Navigating your body can be challenging. It is frustrating when you think you're doing all the right things but it just doesn't seem to be working.

The truth is, our bodies are complex and everything has an effect on us.

For example: You can take an antacid, it may help you feel better in the moment but it's not fixing the acid reflux. In fact, it could have an unwanted effect on your digestion. Without enough acid in the gut, you can't properly break down foods (especially proteins) to be used by the body. This could be setting you up for nutrient deficiencies like anemia.

For weight loss, it's not as simple as calories in calories out. We know the body will go into fat storage mode when you're not getting enough to eat. Without enough food your metabolism slows down and we don't want that. It's not about how much you are eating, it's about eating the right foods.
