Ready for change?

Issue #1

Are you ready for a change?

Are you hearing all the talk about natural healing and getting healthy lately? Is your interest peeked?

You are starting to think, yes there must be something to this it makes sense. Do you want to learn more about how you can make changes that are sustainable and allow your body to heal and repair itself?

It's time to prioritize putting yourself first and make it happen! The alternative is to keep on just as you are. Maybe that's ok for now but what about five, ten or even fifteen years down the road, what does it look like then?

Once you take back your power and agency over your own body it's like a whole new world has opened up. You no longer buy into the thought process that things just happen to you. That your diagnosis, symptom or even weight gain is out of your control.

These are all just symptoms of a deeper issue going on in your body.

Step 1

Take your power back

No more feeling stuck with limited options. No more treating only symptoms. Start looking at what may be going on at a deeper level. What brought on this state that your body is in currently and how can you get it back into balance?

It's so freeing to realize that medications are not going to fix the problem and that's ok because you have another choice.

Getting back to a healthy state may take some work and time. After all it took a while, maybe a lifetime, to get to the state that you're in. But there is a road back.

Start making small shifts. We certainly know a lot of things that we should be doing we just have to do them.

Here are three simple ones you can start today

  • Drink water! not pop or energy drinks. Get a water bottle and make a plan and set times during the day you will refill it. (half your body weight in oz is the goal)
  • Get to sleep by 10:00pm stop staying up late. A dark cool comfortable room for sleeping, no scrolling, no TV just sleep.
  • Trade those sweet snacks for healthier options like nuts, seeds berries, hummus & veggies

Step 2

You can certainly start researching and learning more about holistic ways to heal. There are a lot of resources out there and to be honest everyone is different, and everyone's journey will be a bit different.

True healing is going to take more than drinking water and eating nuts but it's a start.

A holistic professional can guide you and be your support throughout the process. Functional Nutrition is the practice of healing our body through food and lifestyle changes. Bringing balance back to the body so it can heal and thrive.

If you are going to try it on your own, I caution you not to fall into the "quick fix" trap. We are so used to our current medical system of a pill for everything that we can easily fall back into that mentality.

Supplements can be helpful, but they are not a cure all.

Once you've seen it, it's hard to unsee it.

Unfortunately, we as a society have done this to ourselves. Our chronic disease rate is skyrocketed not only for us but for our kids. It's time to turn this around, our addictions to processed foods and sugar are killing us.

If you are ready to take back your life and get on the path to a healthier and happier you, I can help.

Reach out for a free 30min consultation where we can talk about your health goals and how I may be able to help you get there.

TRACY DOYLE WELLNESS Will spring ever come? Mid-winter blues, I will admit that winter is not my favorite season. I don't love the cold, and I don't enjoy winter activities. My husband says I hibernate in the winter, preferring to snuggle up next to the fireplace and read a book. It's mid-February and it seems like winter has been going on forever, especially here in Michigan where there are far more cloudy gray days than sunshine. If you live in a state that is similar you understand, the...
